Welcome to Day 9 of the Holiday Challenge!

Today’s featured mentor  Jacob Sokol

Hooray! It’s Day 9 of the Challenge and we’re adding a twist! Today, we’re welcoming a little masculine energy to the group as I introduce our featured guest mentor (and my soul brother), Jacob Sokol.

Jacob has been featured in top-rated blogs and magazines like The Huffington Post, The Daily Love, en*theos, and ExperienceL!fe. Jacob helps you ask an important question about the method you’re using to get what you want in life. The answer might surprise you because it often turns out that our approach is actually getting the way, rather than getting us the results we’re looking for. Today’s challenge helps you do something else instead.

I’m also honored that Jacob is one of the core mentors inside my signature life coach training program, Mentor Masterclass. (Stay tuned, love. I’ve got more details & surprises to share about it soon.)

Inside the full membership area, Jacob teaches that “It’s hard to serve if you’re not taken care of first. And it’s hard to give something that you don’t have.”

When you look at it this way, self care isn’t “selfish” because it’s actually the key to being of great service. It’s also an important way for us to do our work from a place of bliss. This is important, even in business. Because – very simply – a good mood attracts clients and a bad mood repels them.

Happy day!

How to Play Full-Out

1. Watch the Video

Watch today’s video to learn what Jacob is teaching. At the end of the video he’ll give you today’s challenge. Follow his instructions and play along with us!

The daily challenges are designed to be fun and easy ways to practice what you learn in the videos, while having some holiday fun inside our supportive community of coaches and mentors at the same time.

Want more details about how to play?  Click here to watch the welcome video from Day 1 and get all the information you need.

2. Share & Win Prizes

Follow the instructions (in the video) and then share on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter using the tags #MMHolidayChallenge, @RSVPwJey, and @JacobSokol.

Also follow me on Instagram @RSVPwJey. This is the best place to make sure I personally see what you post.

We’re tracking tags and shares, so the more you play, the more chances you have to win.

3. Reflect & Renew

Here is today’s question for reflection (take a few minutes to feel into it before answering):

What would your life look like if you gave yourself permission to let go of what’s not working and try something new instead?

Helpful tip: Don’t get stuck on knowing the “how” yet.

4. Earn a Full Scholarship to Mentor Masterclass

If you’d like to be considered for a full scholarship to Mentor Masterclass, download a copy of the weekly chapter of the Holiday Challenge Reflection & Support Guide (or “workbook”). A new chapter of the workbook will be available each week on Saturdays.

Click here to download Chapter 1. The next chapter will be available on Saturday, December 26.

NOTE: The chapter guides are provided in .docx, you may edit this document by typing directly into it using Word, or choose to save your reflections/answers in another format [i.e., Pages, notepad] that works for you.

Each chapter contains the questions for videos you’ve already watched during the week, to help reinforce and review what you’ve learned. This means you will need to keep track of your progress during the week using a regular Word or Pages document (or a written journal). Then simply follow the instructions inside the workbook when you receive it.

The workbook is also your scholarship application. To be considered for the full scholarship, follow the instructions each chapter. Make sure to email your completed workbook (all three chapters) between Sunday, January 3rd and Monday January 4th. (The deadline to enter is Monday, January 4th, 5pm Eastern.)

We’ll choose a scholarship winner and announce her name during the live wrap-up call in January.
