Why You Should Be Keeping an Evidence Journal
Have you ever thought the universe was trying to tell you something, or that life was trying to send you a message?
At times, we probably all have, right? And in today’s sneak peek Wake Up Wednesday episode, we’re diving deeper and learning about a very special practice that can help you notice and keep track of all the answers life is sending your way. (And none of us want to miss that!)
Today’s episode features Erin Stutland, one of the mentors inside my premium all-in coaching course, Mentor Masterclass. She’s a coach, fitness professional, and AFAA-certified instructor. Erin is also the creator of the popular workout program, Shrink Session. She’s been featured on everything from The Today Show to The Dr. Oz Show, from Glamour Magazine to Shape.com. Erin knows her stuff!
Today I’m giving you a sneak peek into Erin’s full-length Mentor Masterclass training.
You’ll learn all about an invaluable tool Erin learned from her own coach, and it’s been so effective in her own life she just can’t keep it to herself—it’s keeping an evidence journal.
An evidence journal is a little different from a gratitude journal. At the end of the day, you sit down and you ask yourself one very specific question: How did life support my dreams today?
For example, let’s say you’re working through some money blocks or other financial issues. At the end of the day, you might sit down and ask yourself, How is the world supporting my financial growth and abundance?
Then, think hard. Maybe you got a free cup of coffee, found a dime on the street, or found an extra $5 in your pocket. You’re creating a list of how the world has supported you! You’re playing detective in your own life, looking for clues.
In today’s video, Erin also shares with us:
The other kinds of topics your evidence journal practice can apply to. (You’ll find this at the 1:17 point in the video.)
Exactly what you’ll see happen in your life once you start looking for clues that the world is supporting your dreams. (At the 1:36 mark in the video.)
Why this is still a go-to practice for Erin, and the times when it’s been most useful in her life (right around 2:17.)
I thought the insight from Erin about evidence journals was absolutely brilliant! I’d never heard of this practice before, and after learning from Erin I couldn’t wait to start keeping my own.
It all makes perfect sense. You get what you look for in the universe, so why not look for the good?
Now it’s your turn! In the comments below, tell us your favorite takeaway from Erin’s evidence journal insights in today’s video. Or, maybe you’ve found clues in your own life that the world is supporting you? We want to hear about it!
All my love,
