7 Days of Soulful Practices to Help You Become A Successful Life Coach:

How To Bring Your Full Presence To Every Coaching Session

August 1st, 2017 | no comments

It’s Sneak Peek week here on Wake Up Wednesday! We’re dropping into a never-before-seen training inside my all-in life coach training course, Mentor Masterclass.

Today I’m sharing a video clip from a brand new celebrity mentor training I filmed with Elayne Kalila Doughty, for the women becoming life coaches and feminine leaders inside Mentor Masterclass.

Kalila has been on a path of passionate service for the past twenty years, inspiring women around the world to unleash their leadership gifts and step into their full potential.

She is a psychotherapist, spiritual activist, best-selling author, speaker, soul midwife, and ordained Priestess and Focalizer of the 13 Moon Mystery School lineage. I have worked with Kalila intimately in priestess temple healing through working with archetypes such as The Great Mother, The Priestess and The Goddess of Compassion.

Kalila has supported me through healing traumas from my childhood, my challenged relationship with my mother and my inner relationship to wisdom, leadership and self-love. She has been a guest teacher every year for the women I serve in The Sisterhood Mastermind and she is my favorite person of all time to shop with in Bali!

In today’s video sneak peek, Elayne shares the single most important practice she’s learned in her 25 years of client work. And during the video you’ll witness and feel something incredibly magical happen. It’s something I feel so strongly every time I work with Kalila and you won’t believe how profound her simple suggestion is and what an impact it will have on you as you continue your journey to become a master coach.

Watch and you’ll see how Elayne explains the simple, beautiful and artful practice of unconditional presence with your clients, and people in your life for that matter. I use this coaching technique in everyday life with my daughter, Violet.

Press PLAY on the video below –  and witness as Elayne walks us through this powerful practice!

When you watch today’s video you’ll learn that in order to absorb the concept of presence, it’s important to let go of the part of your mind that enjoys complexity and a concrete to-do list.

Now soak this up:

The most important gift you can give to anybody is your presence.

Before any client session, spend a few very intentional moments fully bringing your presence to the client you’ll be working with. Elayne reminds us that you want to not only be completely present, but quiet, still, available, and not thinking about anything.

You’re preparing to listen to your client with every fiber of your being. With your ears, your body, your heart, Listening with all the colors and shapes that you are, and that your client is. Listening with your soul.

When you truly learn to be present with your clients, you’ll be able to create a space for them to bring in their presence.

Especially when we’re first starting out as coaches, we get super-busy thinking about what we need to be doing or what we need to say. But the way to truly honor your clients is to do what Elayne calls “get empty.” This means letting go of any agenda and expectations for yourself or your client.

Press PLAY on the video above to see this all in action as Elayne brings her presence to me!
